We are Coveris, a leading European print and packaging company. We are continually investing in our facilities and have a requirement for a maintenance person to join our team.
Job Role – Maintenance Person
Hours – Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:00 & Friday 08:00-15:00
We are looking for an experienced maintenance person and the role would suit someone that enjoys a varied working schedule. They would respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs (non-electrical), prioritising Health & Safety and Welfare. This maintenance role will require frequent travelling to our sites across Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.
Coveris would provide a mobile, work vehicle for business use only and all tools/equipment.
Please note that a clean driving licence is required for this role.
Previous experience required:
- Carpentry work – E.G. Installing doors, building shelves and assembling furniture
- Plumbing work – E.G. Leaks and repairs
- Small wall and floor tiling jobs – E.G. Using screed, laying vinyl floors and laying carpet tiles
- Painting & decorating – Refreshing each site every year
- Working within a factory & office environment – desirable
Key Requirements:
- Professional in presentation and in attitude, flexible, polite, and punctual
- Candidates must have a good eye for detail
- Ability to work in a team environment and focussed while working individually
- Strong time management skills and flexible around working hours
- Discipline to adhere to company directives such as Health & Safety policy
- Ability to communicate and work well within a team
- Show a proactive approach in the work environment
- Ability to work unsupervised
