What you can expect:This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vienna, Austria, for a Group Accounting Manager (f/m/d).
The primary responsibility of this role is the preparation, coordination and continuous improvement of consolidated financial statements at group level. You will take ownership of the consolidation process, ensuring accuracy, transparency and compliance with IFRS standards across all entities.
In this role, you will:
- Manage the group-wide consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS reporting requirements and internal group policies
- Act as a key contact for auditors regarding consolidation topics
- Drive improvements and efficiencies in consolidation processes, tools and reporting quality
- Collaborate closely with local finance teams and other stakeholders across the group to ensure high-quality and timely reporting
- Strong and proven experience in group consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements (essential)
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, especially in a consolidation context
- Solid understanding of intercompany processes, eliminations and group reporting structures
- Experience with financial consolidation systems (HFM preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate inputs from multiple entities
- Experience in working with auditors and handling audit requirements
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field; professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA) is highly beneficial
- Several years of experience in group accounting, consolidation or financial reporting roles
- Performance based pay – minimum salary of € 70.000 with possibility of overpayment based on experience
