The finalists in this year’s FlexoTech International Print and Innovation Awards have been announced and Coveris has made it on the shortlist for two awards. Coveris has two finalists in the prestigious UV Flexo on Paper and Board category and had also been shortlisted in the Process Colours Only category.

The FlexoTech International Print and Innovation Awards attract high quality entries from the flexographic industry with an international panel of judges assessing print categories based on reproduction, degree of difficulty and print quality.

Coveris’ shortlisted entries are:

  • UV flexo on paper and board: Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Steak Burgers labels
  • UV flexo on paper and board: ASDA Simply Cook Tikka Chicken labels
  • Process Colours Only: M&S King Prawn Skewers labels

The winners will be announced at the FlexoTech Awards ceremony taking place on Wednesday 16th October at the Royal Lancaster London. A full list of FlexoTech Award categories and nominated entries can be viewed here.

Coveris’ excellence in flexographic print has already been recognised this year at the European Flexographic Industry Association (EFIA) Awards. Coveris took Gold award honours in Flexo Print on Film – Reverse Print Narrow, Flexo Print on Paper – Narrow Web and Student of the Year categories. Coveris was also awarded Silver in the Best in Show competition, selected from print category winners.
