Boston, Lincolnshire, Monday 7th November 2022: Local packaging manufacturer Coveris raises £1,500 for the UK’s leading mental health charity, Mind. £1,500 was raised at Coveris’ Paper Business Unit’s annual charity golf event held recently at Norwood Park Golf Course, Southwell.

Working for a better tomorrow, Coveris strives to create innovative and sustainable packaging solutions for some of the world’s most respected brands and retailers and is committed to supporting its local communities and environments. Coveris has been holding its charity golf tournament annually since 1994 and is thrilled to raise a fantastic £1,500 for Mind this year.

48 golfers from Coveris’ Boston, Cramlington (Northeast), Spalding, St Neots and Wisbech sites spent the day competing against one another whilst raising money for a great cause. The funds will help Mind in their mission of providing advice and support to anyone experiencing a mental health problem, as well as funding their campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding around mental health.

Michael Marshall, Coveris’ Paper Business Unit Operations Director, said “Our charity golf tournament had an amazing turnout, and we are delighted to have raised £1,500 for such a worthwhile cause. We chose to support Mind this year as one in four people will experience a mental health problem throughout their lives. Thank you to our sponsors MPS, Mark Andy, UPM Raflatac, A B Graphic, and INX International Ink Co. for their generous support that helped us to put on such a great day.”
