Held every two years, the FTA Europe Diamond Awards recognise excellence in print quality, innovation and technical expertise, bringing together award-winning entries from across the continent.
The Silver-winning entry was produced at Coveris Gainsborough for Asda's Extra Special White Sourdough packaging. The design first achieved success at the FIA UK Awards, securing Gold in the Flexo Print on Film: Surface Print Medium category before progressing to the European stage.
Competing against other national award-winning entries from across Europe, the Silver award in the Flexo Print on Film, Medium Web category highlights the outstanding capabilities of the Gainsborough team and their commitment to delivering exceptional print quality.
Richard Smith, Coveris’ UK Flexibles Managing Director said: “Winning Silver at the FTA Europe Diamond Awards is a tremendous achievement and fantastic recognition for the team. To be recognised among the very best flexographic printers in Europe reflects the skill, attention to detail and commitment our colleagues bring to every job. We're incredibly proud of what we've accomplished and delighted to see our work recognised on such a prestigious stage.”
David Chambers, Print Technical Manager (Gainsborough), and Mark Hughes, UK Flex Print Development Manager, were in Barcelona to collect the Silver award on behalf of the Gainsborough team.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this outstanding achievement and for representing Coveris so successfully on the European stage.
