An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Rewind Team Leader to join the Amberley team based in Dorset on a full time basis working a day shift. This role provides huge potential and you will be joining a company that invests in people.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Ensure the company policies, procedures and systems are followed within the production environment of the business at a practical shop floor level
  • Check manning plan
  • Check PPE is being worn by all staff
  • Review production plan and delivery out loads
  • Update Ops manager with any key concerns
  • Support H&S requirements and quality checks
  • Manage direct issues which have been escalated through Ops
  • Constructively challenge line performance
  • Fully prepare for review meetings
  • Feedback on high value consumables spend / improvement
  • Review and drive team skills
  • Support Ops Manager in completion of rewind team appraisals

 

Key Requirements:

  • Comprehensive experience in finishing
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of operators
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Experience of a fast moving, changing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot
  • A desire to continually improve and push boundaries
  • Knowledge of courier systems an advantage but training will be given
