Production Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Production Administrator to join our Production team based at Coveris UK’s St Neots site. Suitable candidates would have great attention to detail, demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude and be a team player.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Check all Job bags before going to press against plan
  • Complete daily glue list
  • Order all boxes for glue line on a daily basis
  • Close all job bags and out on events for board and film
  • Answering all incoming calls
  • Print out daily plan to go out to press, plate room and Shift Managers
  • Print PDF for all jobs to check correct colours on correct job bags and amend accordingly and link to job bag
  • Raise orders for everything for all departments across both sites
  • Responsible for the reviewing of the re-order levels for all items on the production consumable spreadsheet, and also the ongoing monitoring of this taking into account site growth.  Raise orders for weekly requirements.
  • Setting up and opening accounts with new suppliers
  • Work closely with the Finance department and authorise or investigate any invoice queries
  • Update files and file all supplier delivery notes with copy of corresponding purchase order
  • Update files and file all returned customer signed despatch notes
  • Supply proof of deliveries for the Finance, Internal Sales and Customer Care departments
  • Supply ETA’s to the Internal Sales department and deal with any daily transport queries
  • Action any site facility requirements - vending machines, toilets, air con, lockers and any ongoing day to day requirements
  • Order safety footwear and work wear for all personnel across both sites

  • 2 years previous experience working within an administration role- Essential
