Responsibility for all tenders for new business
Working with the Sales Team to produce price estimates including margin levels and comparisons
To analyse the actual and budgeted targets and be able to report on these in a proactive manner
Develop a strong understanding of all processes to be able to assist the teams deliver on profitability and commercial success
Ensure all reporting of data is aligned to weekly and monthly deadlines to ensure maximum profitability providing commentary and analysis where required
Balance the commercial returns via judicious pricing, operational efficiency and material optimisation.
Manage the Commercial Analyst to ensure all prices, estimates and reporting is done in a timely manner
Strong Commercial or Accounts background and proven experience of working in a similar position
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an advanced level and able to run Power BI Queries
A team player with the excellent interpersonal skills to be able to build relationships with internal departments and other stakeholders within the business
Attention to detail and accuracy with an ability to present and communicate data in a meaningful way
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your workload and work to deadlines
